Pineywoods Paws is a no-kill rescue. Every animal in our care is fully vetted before being placed with a forever family.
When you adopt from Pineywoods Paws, you're not just gaining a companion β you're saving a life and making room for us to rescue another animal in need.
We're building our rescue program now. Adoptable animals will appear here once we're up and running β sign up to be the first to know.
Pineywoods Paws is a newly founded rescue. We are actively recruiting foster families and building our support network so that when we pull our first animals, they have a safe place to land.

Not necessarily! It depends on the individual dog. Some dogs do require a fenced yard, but many do great in apartments or homes without a yard as long as they receive adequate exercise and enrichment. We'll match you with a dog whose needs fit your living situation.
Yes! We just need written confirmation from your landlord that pets are permitted and that they approve of the specific animal you wish to adopt. Please gather this documentation before or during your application process.
Most adoptions are completed within one week. Once your application is reviewed (2β3 business days) and a meet-and-greet is arranged, the whole process from application to going home typically takes 5β7 days.
Yes. All animals are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested (dogs) or FIV/FeLV tested (cats) before going home. We want every adoption to start on a healthy, responsible foundation.
We are committed to the lifelong wellbeing of every animal we place. If for any reason the adoption isn't working, we will work with you to troubleshoot behavioral issues. If the placement truly isn't right, we will take the animal back β no questions asked.
